Dirty Blue Coupon Widget

I’ve always fancied myself as a pretty decent widget programmer. But recently, I’ve been trying to build a coupon widget to save money for the site I’m painfully behind development on.
It’s a fairly novel idea where you enter the product and it searches the internet for the best coupon. It spits out a decent looking coupon like this:
NOT VALID (Example Widget Coupon)
The bar code is working and maps to the coupon code found for the product. Everything is automated so all you have to do is enter the product and it spits out a fancy coupon. Is this overkill or what?
